Flipping through Shel Silverstein's book A Light in the Attic a few nights ago and re-enjoyed this poem:
Reflection
Each time I see the Upside-Down Man
Standing in the water,
I look at him and start to laugh,
Although I shouldn't oughtter.
For maybe in another world
Another time
Another town,
Maybe HE is right side up
And I am upside down.

"Girl Walk // All Day"
Girl Talk's most recent mashup album All Day is being used for a 75-minute video following three dancers around New York City as they dance to the album. The film, which is called Girl Walk // All Day, was made by the creative agency Wild Combination, not Girl Talk (Gregg Gillis), and can be viewed in installments on the Gothamist website (click here). Below is the first chapter. Girl Talk comes in around the 2:25 mark. I wouldn't say it met my expectations, but I actually don't like this last album as much as Night Ripper, so perhaps that is contributing to my lack of enthusiasm for the film. Decide for yourself:
